Hobie Tandem Island - Peddle, Paddle or Sail - This boat does it all. A 18' 6" Trimaran Sail/Yak that incorporates the patented Hobie Mirage Drive into a unique sailing machine unlike any other sailing craft on the water. The Hobie Tandem Island features a boom-less, roller-furling sail rig with plenty of sail area for excellent performance, completely manageable from the cockpit with the pull of a line. Two retractable amas fold up against the side of the boat for easy docking, maneuverability, and transport. The Hobie Mirage Drive allows the boat to be pedaled while under sail, or simply pedaled with the sail furled for versatility not found in any other sailboat. No Wind? No Problem! Your vacation time at the lake is limited, make the best of it.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

50% due at the time of reservation
Balance due two weeks prior to reservation pickup date. This balance will be auto charged to the credit card used for your reservation. Please contact us in advance if you would like the balance of the rental fees charged to another card
Your provided card will be authorized for the security deposit at the start of your rental.
- Power Boats $1,000 (Fuel/Damage Deposit)
- Non Powered Boats $100 Damage Deposit

CANCELLATION POLICY

Rental Fees are refundable less a 10% processing fee with 60 days written notice.
When less than 60 days exists before day/week of rental, no deposit refund is allowed if reservation is cancelled
Rentals are Rain or Shine unless Thunder Storms are Imminent

DEPOSIT AND DAMAGE POLICY

Fuel Deposit/Authorization - All power boats are rented with a full tank of fuel. Your credit card will be authorized/charged at the start of the rental. You will be billed for fuel used against that authorization.
Power Boats will be Authorized/charged a Damage Deposit at the start of the rental. This is Released/refunded Providing no loss of equipment or damage to the boat.
Insurance is not included with the rental. You are responsible for any and all damage that exceeds the deposit.
Non Powered Boats are Authorized/charged a $100 Damage Deposit at the start of the rental. This is Released/refunded Providing no loss of equipment or damage to the boat. You are responsible for any damage costs that exceed the deposit.

OTHER RULES/RESTRICTONS

Must be 25 with proper ID to rent and operate powerboats, 18 for non-powered
All operators must have completed a NYS approved/NASBLA, Power Squadron or Coast Guard Safe Boating Course.
Power Boats may be operated between Sunrise and Sunset. No Nighttime operation.
All rentals subject to 8% Sales Tax.
No Refunds on unused time
No Towing of other boats allowed.
No BBQ Grills.
Pets are allowed with a $100 cleaning fee
Operator may not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol
No operation of vessel during incliment weather. Operator must seek nearest safe harbor safely securing vessel.

PICKUP- POWER BOATS

The rental week runs from Saturday at 10 AM through Friday, at 2:00 PM.
Weekly Rentals will be contacted the week prior to reservation date to schedule pickup time.
Daily/multi-day rentals are from 10 AM to 4 PM based on availability
Full Day Rental will take precedent over ½ day on non powered boats. We do not take 1/2 Day reservations
All weekly rentals must be picked up by 3:30 PM to allow time for proper check out.
Power boats are to be picked up at Morgan Marine
Non-Powered Boats - Daily rentals are done out of the marina. Weekly non-powered rentals include delivery to level beachfront cottages or closest boat ramp. We will not deliver to cottages with steps. Must have someone available to help unload. Rentals are only to be transported by Morgan Marine. You can not cartop them.
